In each session, Laura strives to create a warm, compassionate environment where healing and growth can flourish for each client, grounded in the core belief that true healing happens through connection. With a focus on evidence-based, individualized techniques, Laura ensures that every person feels both supported and safe throughout their therapeutic journey.
Having lived in Virginia since 2015, Laura brings a wealth of experience to her practice. Before transitioning into counseling, she worked as a teacher which allows her to draw on her background to incorporate developmentally appropriate strategies in her work. With a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Johns Hopkins University, Laura is well-equipped to offer tailored support that meets the unique needs of each client.
Laura is an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), specializing in supporting clients and families affected by ADHD. This certification equips her to identify and address underlying stressors that may be influencing symptoms and daily functioning. As an ADHD-CCSP, Laura offers valuable resources, practical strategies, and consultation services to families seeking greater understanding and support.
Outside of her practice, Laura, a proud mother of two teens, is often found immersed in seasonal sports activities. Whether she's cheering on her kids at baseball games, track or swim meets, she loves being a supportive presence at any athletic event. When she's not on the sidelines, Laura enjoys taking walks with her dog Moose or unwinding with a good documentary.

Licensed Professional Counselor - Virginia #0701015587Crystal is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience across the mental health field. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Radford University and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
Growing up in a military family—and later marrying into one—Crystal experienced frequent moves throughout the United States and Europe. Married since 1990, she is a mother of three adult children and a proud grandmother. Having lived in Northern Virginia since 2005, she understands firsthand the unique pressures often faced by families in the NOVA area.
Crystal’s professional background spans a variety of clinical settings. She has served as an in-patient acute care social worker in California, working with teens, adults, and families experiencing a wide range of mental health diagnoses including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and depression. She has also worked as a recreational therapist at a psychiatric long-term care facility in Washington, D.C., and as a case worker supporting outpatient clients in Montgomery County, Virginia. Her administrative role at Franconia Family Therapy Center ultimately inspired her to pursue a counseling degree. She later completed her internship at Associated Clinical Services in Springfield, VA, and her residency at Keystone Serves in Burke, VA.
Crystal uses an eclectic, person-centered, and evidence-based therapeutic approach, drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She currently works with teens, adults of all ages, parents, and seniors. Her clinical experience includes supporting clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood dysregulation, gender confusion, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
Crystal meets clients with empathy and without judgment, helping them explore thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns that may be hindering their wellbeing. She partners with clients to identify meaningful changes and build practical skills that support a healthier mindset and personal growth. As a practicing Christian, Crystal can incorporate a Christian spiritual perspective into therapy upon request, while always honoring and respecting each client’s individual beliefs and values.

She earned her bachelor's degree in nterdisciplinary Studies, Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Elementary Education from University of Northern Colorado and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Jill is currently a licensed resident in counseling in the state of Virginia, working under the supervision of Laura Waller at Connected Care Counseling, LLC. With a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, she works with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life stages, helping them identify cognitive and behavioral patterns, set measurable treatment goals, and implement evidence-based interventions for lasting change. She fosters a structured yet supportive therapeutic environment where clients can process challenges and develop adaptive coping strategies.
Her clinical approach emphasizes goal-directed treatment planning, psychoeducation, and collaborative problem-solving, empowering clients to improve emotional regulation, manage life transitions, and enhance overall well-being. She has experience supporting adults in later life and is honored to support each individual's life story while promoting emotional wellness and connection.
Outside of her professional role, her most cherished moments are spent with friends and family. She enjoys exploring new places, spending time in nature, and seeking out new adventures that enrich her personal and professional life. As a military spouse and mother of four, she deeply understands the challenges of transition, resilience, and adaptability, which further informs her compassionate and client-centered approach to counseling.

When he's not in the office, you’ll find him visiting local schools and community centers, spreading joy and offering comfort to everyone he meets. Trained as a Good Canine Citizen, Moose is well-mannered and always eager to help. At work and at home, Moose enjoys nothing more than curling up for a cozy nap and indulging in his favorite treats. With his gentle nature and loving spirit, Moose is truly a dog with a purpose!
