At Connected Care Counseling, we prioritize the well-being of the entire family system. We offer comprehensive family support through a variety of approaches tailored to each client's needs. In sessions with younger clients, caregiver involvement is essential, and parents are often invited to participate when it is therapeutically beneficial. Our family system support includes family therapy sessions and parent coaching, with clinicians dedicated to ensuring that every member of the system receives the support they need for growth and healing.

Connected Care Counseling provides ADHD consultations for individuals and families seeking guidance in understanding a recent or suspected ADHD diagnosis. The goal of each consultation is tailored to the unique needs of the individual or family and may include increasing self-awareness, exploring available resources, or gaining a deeper understanding of ADHD. At our therapy office, we understand that the therapeutic process can sometimes feel intimidating or overwhelming. To help create a warm and welcoming environment, we have an emotional support dog named Moose, who plays an integral role in helping our clients feel comfortable and at ease. Moose's calm and friendly presence allows clients to relax, fostering an atmosphere of trust and openness. Whether it's providing a gentle nudge or simply lying quietly by their side, Moose offers unconditional support, helping clients feel more grounded during their sessions. His presence has proven to be a valuable tool in breaking down emotional barriers, making it easier for individuals to express themselves and engage in the healing process.

Connected Care Counseling is dedicated to supporting the broader community through workshops and seminars designed to address important topics. These workshops can cover a range of subjects, including parenting teens and pre-teens, managing anxiety in children, and providing support for families with ADHD. Connected Care Counseling has partnered with schools and churches to foster a deeper understanding of effective strategies and resources, helping individuals and families build stronger foundations for growth and well-being.
Connected Care Counseling has actively participated in local wellness events, bringing Moose along to help raise awareness about the positive impact mental health services can have on everyone. If you’re interested in having a Connected Care clinician speak at your next event, please reach out to us at laura@connectedcarecounseling.com.
